Alicia H - Speech Pathololgist

Alicia is a qualified Speech Pathologist, registered with Speech Pathology Australia. She has 1.5 years of experiencing supporting young people, and is skilled in delivering comprehensive assessments, treating and diagnosing a range of swallowing and communication disorders.

Alicia is keen to explore working with adults and supporting them to communicate in a way that feels best for them.

What are your hobbies outside of work?
I’m a big performer! I love acting, singing and dancing - anything musical theatre or karaoke! I love getting outside for a run or a hike or cuddling up at home with a good book, as well as spending as much time as possible with my family and friends.

How do you connect with young people?
I’m both a qualified Speech Pathologist and Teacher, so have been privileged to have multiple opportunities to work with young people. I love getting to know my students/clients by having a good chat and learning more about them and their interests.

What were you like growing up?
As a young girl, I loved learning at school. This has now transferred to my adult years, as I am constantly seeking to learn more and grow as a clinician.

I also loved any opportunity to be on stage, which has also transformed into a greater love for performing arts!
