Evie R - Disability Support Worker

Evie comes to us with experience in the creative field, and teaching classes of up to 30 students at any one time. This, alongside her experience in management roles, neurodivergent family members, soft spoken nature, and true passion for providing person centred supports, has made her a valuable asset to our team.

What are your hobbies outside of working?

Between winning chess games or tennis matches, I love all things creative! I love attending local poetry nights and music gigs and wherever I can, I bring my golden retriever puppy, Billy, with me.

How do you connect with young people?

As much as I am a chatter box myself, I absolutely love listening to other peoples interests, ideas and stories and learning and getting to know somebody. I feel as though everybody has something to offer and learn from each other, so I really value quality time with people.

What were you like growing up?

Being an older siblings I took a lot of pleasure out of annoying my little brothers and sisters with nicknames and forcing them to play with me! But as a kid, I loved being outside, whether making potions out of mud and flowers or getting stuck into a book, I love learning and all things kinetic play.
