Occupational Therapy
LETS TALK ABOUT DOING!
What do we do?
At First Step Support Services, our occupational therapy team specialises in supporting children, young people & adults to build the skills they need for everyday life. We work with individuals to develop independence in areas like emotional regulation, sensory processing, play, motor skills, self-care, and participation at home, school, and in the community.
We also have experience supporting neurodivergent individuals, including autistic children and those with a range of developmental differences.
If you're concerned about your child, student, or a loved one, our team is here to help - every step of the way.

What can we help with?
Sensory processing differences (e.g. sensitivity to sound, touch, or movement)
Emotional regulation and coping strategies
Developing fine motor skills (like handwriting, drawing, or using scissors)
Gross motor skills (like balance, coordination, and strength)
Self-care skills (dressing, toileting, brushing teeth, etc.)
